The Vatican Proposes World Banking Apparatus

Yesterday, a department within the Vatican released a "note" urging the establishment of a "global public authority" and a "central world bank" to rule over institutions responsible for "inequalities and distortions of capitalist development."

While I question their motives, I do like the idea. At the moment, companies can setup shop in a nation with shoddy regulations and use it to practice unethical behavior. That said, the only way I would ever accept a global bank is if it were heavily regulated by the people.
