Eric Cantor Cancels Philly Speech On Income Inequality

Internationally known pussy and House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-Va) canceled his scheduled Friday afternoon speech on income inequality at the University of Pennsylvania. According to CNN, the decision was made after the University decided to open the event to the public. Could it perhaps have anything to do with the fact that protesters from Occupy Philadelphia were planning to rally against his policies and, God Forbid, boo him? According to his spokesman, Brad Dayspring, it appears that I am correct.

The Office of the Majority Leader was informed last night by Capitol Police that the University of Pennsylvania was unable to ensure that the attendance policy previously agreed to could be met. Wharton is an educational leader in innovation and entrepreneurship, and the majority leader appreciated the invitation to speak with the students, faculty, alumni and other members of the UPENN community.

Personally, I think he cancelled it because he knew somebody would mug him because, well, Philly doesn't take kindly to the kind of twisted rhetoric he was likely going to spit.
